Meta Schooling was formed with the Vision to bring LIFE in Education. LIFE stands for Leadership, Innovation, Foundational Values and Excellence. It started with Innovations in Pre-Primary Education and evolved a period of time to establish a Unique model till Primary. With the focus to inculcate cultural values in generation next, ideas evolved to create niche products in Cultural domain as well. Today we stand with over 50 books published and around 20 gift items for children.
Goals: The goal of Meta Schooling is to see a Bharat led by Gurukuls, people and politics finding solutions from Shaastra. Bharat was a world leader and should be again if the world has to see peace prevailing all around. Bharat’s knowledge base, its cultural heritage and traditional practices were all laid on the foundation of science and spirituality – science to ensure there is no scope of false beliefs and spirituality to ensure practices are guided towards higher goals.

Education: Foundational (Nursery to Class 2)
The issue that prevalent education system was founded by Macaulay with the intention to enslave Bharat is widely in discussion. However, everyone continues to follow the system with conviction. The prevailing teaching content and pedagogy, assessment procedures, cultural environment – all remains the same. As long as this continues, helplessly we will not be able to see a generation which is high in morale, proud of the Nation and skilled enough to lead the world. Therefore, we need a system that is rooted in Gurukul with a blend of modern needs but with a vision to command the future.
Prevalent Issues
The issue with the foundational stage is that we have nothing original in education. The whole Nation is engaged in learning ‘A for Apple’ and ‘Humpty Dumpty’, without realizing how negative, unorganized, irrelevant and meaningless the contents are. The goals are not defined. The focus is set by trends. Most of the Teachers undergo Montessori courses. Neither parents, nor Teachers are aware of how important this stage of life is for the children. There is no originality and innovation that has evolved since independence in this area.
What we offer
This stage is most suitable for developing positive emotions in children. At this stage, many negative emotions like anger, stubbornness, etc., can be corrected. Children learn hundreds of new words which can root them to their cultural values. This is the right time to seed Sanskar related vocabulary in children. Therefore, we call our five year foundational programme ‘Shishu Sanskar’.
Textbooks
We offer very unique textbooks which are rooted in Bharatiya culture and empower children with positive emotions. Rhymes are meaningful and value driven (music is available on YouTube). Contents are relevant and organized and develop a Sanskar of inquisitiveness in children.

Prevalent Issues
The content offered in Primary Education doesn’t seem to be adding value to their scientific or social temperament. Stories in English books are mostly foreign in nature. Content in Hindi too is gradually getting diluted and has lost its cultural touch. Consequently, the content is not so effective in generating interest in children. Science subject too is mere information. It doesn’t add wisdom in them. For example, the child doesn’t know what to eat and what not after reading about Nutrients. The child doesn’t know where to apply the knowledge of Solar system. It is so because the makers of Primary textbooks have little or no idea about the goals that need to be achieved during and at the end of Primary Education. They have little or no concern about what best can be achieved in terms of human development during this age group.
What we offer
This stage is most suitable to align children to right values, behaviours and habits. We take an organized approach in achieving this goal. Our textbooks are blend of Bharatiya Shastras and the best of the modern contents. With foundations in Bharatiya ethos, alignment with career based on innate nature is also integrated in the curriculum. Our offer includes relevant Teacher Training and Parenting programme.

‘Science Sutras’ blends spirituality and science from our Shastras with the modern texts. ‘Arise’ presents child and adult icons of Bharat motivating and helping the child to focus on emotional strengths. ‘Panchamrit’ presents interesting stories and poetries compiled to teach them ‘Yum-Niyum’ of Ashtaang Yog. ‘Ganit’ helps them learn maths through puzzles, tricks and fun. ‘Computers’ guides them step by step to learn the basics of computer world.
